When Hurricanes Matthew, Irma, Florence, Michael, Ian, and countless other storms devastated communities across the Southeast, we were on the front lines.

For years, we worked as insurance adjusters and appraisers, evaluating losses after some of the nation's most destructive weather events. We witnessed the devastation firsthand and dedicated ourselves to helping families begin the recovery process.

But over time, something became increasingly difficult to ignore.

The calls from homeowners became more frequent and more heartbreaking. Families who had already endured the trauma of losing their homes or businesses were left confused, frustrated, and asking the same question:

"Why isn't my insurance claim covering what we lost?"

Many had waited months, sometimes more than a year for their claim to be resolved, only to receive settlements that fell far short of what they needed to restore their property. Behind every claim was a family trying to rebuild their lives, and those conversations stayed with us.

Eventually, we realized we could no longer continue on the insurance company side of the claims process.

We made the decision to use our knowledge and experience to advocate for property owners instead.
